A leading European growth equity investor is looking to hire an Investment Associate to join its team in Munich. The firm invests in high-growth technology companies across Europe and supports entrepreneurs through international scaling, operational development and strategic expansion.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly active investment platform with exposure to fast-growing businesses across software, digital infrastructure, fintech and tech-enabled services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate investment opportunities across the European technology ecosystem

• Conduct financial analysis, valuation and transaction modelling

• Perform commercial and financial due diligence on potential investments

• Support the execution of transactions from origination to closing

• Prepare investment committee materials and presentations

• Work closely with portfolio companies on strategic initiatives and growth planning

• Develop market insights across key technology subsectors

Candidate Profile

• 1–3 years of full-time experience in investment banking, ideally within M&A or technology coverage

• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills

• Excellent academic background from a leading university

• Demonstrated interest in technology and growth investing

• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluency in English and German preferred

• Willingness to be based in Berlin or Munich
