We are supporting a leading European private equity investor in the expansion of its Portfolio Strategy & Value Creation team in Germany.The role works directly with portfolio company management teams on operational and strategic value creation initiatives, with a strong focus on implementation and measurable performance improvement.Responsibilities include:Identify and implement operational value creation initiatives across portfolio companiesSupport operating model and organizational transformationsDrive performance improvement and cost optimization initiativesSupport restructuring and turnaround programs where relevantDevelop and execute transformation roadmapsEstablish KPIs and track operational and financial performanceSupport transformation PMOs and cross-functional implementation programsAssess businesses across their value chains and identify improvement opportunitiesWork directly with portfolio company management teamsSupport business planning and strategic initiativesTranslate analysis into actionable implementation plansTake ownership of individual value creation workstreamsCandidate profile:Approximately 3–5 years of relevant professional experienceBackground in management consulting, operational consulting, restructuring, transformation or performance improvementHands-on experience implementing operational improvement initiativesExperience with operating model and/or organizational transformationStrong analytical and financial capabilitiesAbility to demonstrate individual ownership of project workstreamsPE or PE-backed portfolio company exposure is advantageousRelevant sector exposure may include Industrials, Automotive, Manufacturing, Business Services, Healthcare, Technology/Software or ConsumerGerman and English language capability preferredThis opportunity offers the chance to move from project-based advisory work into a private equity environment with direct exposure to portfolio company management teams and tangible value creation initiatives.
