About the Role
Our client, a leading European alternative investment manager, is seeking an Associate to join its Infrastructure Investments team in Munich.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate infrastructure investment opportunities across Europe and North America.
• Build financial models and perform valuation analyses.
• Conduct commercial, financial, and operational due diligence.
• Prepare investment committee materials and investment memoranda.
• Monitor portfolio performance and support portfolio management activities.
• Conduct market and industry research.
• Participate in meetings with fund managers, advisers, and management teams.
• Support fundraising activities and investor reporting.
The successful candidate will support investments across infrastructure funds, co-investments, and secondary transactions, working alongside senior investment professionals throughout the entire investment lifecycle.
Candidate Profile
• 2-4 years' experience in Infrastructure Private Equity, Investment Banking (M&A), Infrastructure Advisory, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or another relevant private markets environment.
• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
