Our client is a fast growing GreenTech startup based in Mils, Austria, developing one of the world’s first scalable road power plants. By transforming existing road infrastructure into a new source of renewable energy , the team is creating a completely new way of generating clean electricity without additional land use. As an Electrical Engineer , you will help bring this breakthrough technology from prototype to international deployment. Working closely with mechanical, software, hydraulic and physics engineers , you will solve complex engineering challenges, build innovative hardware and help shape the future of clean energy infrastructure .   • Compensation: Gross annual salary starting at €45.000 , with the willingness to offer a higher salary depending on experience and qualifications.

Your responsibillities

  • Hardware Development: Design and develop electrical hardware for the next generation of the Road Power Plant.
  • Circuit Design: Create electrical schematics, select components and design high quality PCB layouts.
  • Testing & Validation: Perform simulations, laboratory testing, debugging and system validation.
  • Prototype Development: Develop prototypes and support the transition into serial production.
  • System Integration: Integrate sensors, actuators and control units into the overall product architecture.
  • Cross Functional Engineering: Collaborate closely with mechanical, hydraulic, software and physics teams to solve interdisciplinary engineering challenges.
  • Field Testing: Support real world testing and continuously improve hardware performance under practical operating conditions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Optimize existing electrical systems with a strong focus on reliability, manufacturability and scalability.
  • Innovation: Contribute to future controller generations and electrical architectures for international deployment.

Your profile as Electrical Engineer

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field. Equivalent practical experience is also welcome.
  • At least 2 years of hands on experience in electrical hardware development, electronic product development or comparable engineering roles.
  • Experience developing electrical systems from concept through production readiness.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB design, circuit development, component selection and system integration.
  • Experience with testing, validation and debugging of electronic systems.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and thrive in a fast paced startup environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. German is considered an advantage.
  • Ideally, you also bring experience with power electronics, embedded systems, renewable energy technologies or industrial product development.
