Your Mission

As a Founders Associate at Partao, you'll work directly with our founders to turn data into decisions. From day one, you'll take ownership of meaningful projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing startup.

Partao is one of Europe's fastest-growing B2B and B2C marketplaces for agricultural and construction parts, backed by VC funding and led by ex-corporate executives from Amazon, HelloFresh and Autodoc – connecting thousands of brands and millions of products on one platform. With that scale comes a lot of data across sales, marketing, logistics and finance, and we need someone to make sense of it.

We're looking for proactive people who thrive in a fast-moving environment, learn new systems quickly, and are eager to make an impact from day one.

Your Impact

Analysis & insight

• You analyse financial, sales, marketing and operational data to support decision-making.
• You identify trends, anomalies and performance drivers across the business, from pricing and conversion to supplier lead times and delivery performance.
• You run ad-hoc deep dives for the founders and present clear, actionable recommendations.

Dashboards & reporting

• You build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key business metrics.
• You work with teams to define metrics, KPIs and data requirements.
• You develop automations and AI-assisted reporting to replace manual work and speed up insights.

Data quality & foundations

• You support data cleaning, validation and documentation so teams can trust the numbers.
• You help improve how data is captured and structured across our ERP, CRM and operations tools.

Working with leadership

• You work alongside the founders to help drive company direction.
• You partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Logistics to answer their questions with data.

Your Talent

• You're a student in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• You're confident with SQL and Excel / Google Sheets; experience with Python or R is a plus.
• You've worked with a BI or dashboarding tool (e.g. Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase).
• You can turn messy data into a clear story and explain it to non-technical colleagues.
• You're curious about using AI tools to automate analysis and reporting.
• You have strong English; German or French business fluency (C1) is a plus.
• You can operate in a fast-moving startup environment and are proactive, detail-oriented and eager to learn.
