Venture Analyst - Nemetschek CVC (m/f/d)

As a Venture Analyst in our Corporate Venture Capital team, you will help identify, evaluate, and execute startup investments that align with our AECO focus. You will blend strategic thinking, market research, and financial analysis while building relationships with entrepreneurs and ecosystem partners. Based in Munich, you’ll gain hands-on VC experience and contribute to shaping our innovation agenda. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor portfolio progress and drive value creation. This is an opportunity to impact the AECO startup landscape and scale corporate innovation.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Deal sourcing & screening: build relationships with entrepreneurs, incubators, accelerators, and VC funds; source deal flow via networking and platforms like PitchBook and Tracxn; assess product-market fit, team strength, and scalability
• Internal CRM management: maintain accurate startup data in the CRM
• Portfolio reporting: prepare periodic performance reports for the executive leadership team
• Portfolio dashboard management: update financials and metrics quarterly
• Due diligence: assist in evaluating business models, market fit, technology, scalability, team, and financials; summarize findings for investment committee

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
• 2–3 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or startup environment
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent English communication skills, with experience delivering presentations
