About the Role

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within South Africa while contributing significantly to building innovative teams for our exciting clients. You will be instrumental in identifying, attracting, and engaging top engineering, product, and design talent for fast-paced startups. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for various technical roles within tech startups, from initial sourcing to offer acceptance.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top-tier engineering, product, design, and other technical talent.
• Utilise a wide range of sourcing tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and community forums.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct thorough candidate screenings and interviews, assessing technical skills, cultural fit, and motivation.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements and provide market insights.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process.
• Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on pipeline health and progress.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in tech recruitment and the startup landscape.
• Champion diversity and inclusion in all recruitment efforts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter, with a strong focus on the technology sector.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting for startup environments and for niche technical roles (e.g., Software Engineers, Product Managers, UX/UI Designers).
• Excellent understanding of various tech stacks and software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM tools.
• Exceptional sourcing skills and a creative approach to finding talent.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a remote setting.
