Key Responsibilities • Act as a participant in vendor and Amazon safety policies. • Coordinate multiple material flow and installation schedules of interdependent vendors. • Manage the overall project budget, approving purchase orders and invoices. • Contribute to developing comprehensive budgets during project conception. • Plan, direct, supervise and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or sub-task. • Take accountability while providing status, asking for help, and escalating issues and problems as necessary. • Represent the Company with vendors and suppliers during project execution. • Mobilize company resources through effective liaison with support departments to create project teams. • Monitor and report on the progress of all project activity, including significant milestones and any conditions affecting cost or schedule. • Lead the overall project schedule that enables teams based on milestones and go-live dates. • Experience in a distribution environment and knowledge of material handling equipment such as pallet racking, conveyor, and fork trucks. • Possess a broad technical background and the ability to assist when needed. • Contribute to project planning from concept to completion. • Plan and execute the business case that delivers operational fulfillment centers. • Engage with all levels of the organization to agree strategy, attend the site, own its development from greenfield to fully functioning FC, plan and manage resources to execute activities in an end‑to‑end schedule. • Make decisions on behalf of the business and coordinate stakeholders—both internal and third‑party.

Basic Qualifications • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM360, etc.). • Fluency in English (speaking, writing, reading) with ability to take direction in English. • Experience developing and managing large project budgets. • Experience in project management and implementation with proven ability to design workable solutions and drive projects to successful implementation. • Management, coaching and development of managers, teams and project resources. • Management of infrastructure projects. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and MSProject.

Program Manager, Fulfillment Center Launch & Retrofits Amazon is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to support the continued expansion of our European fulfillment network.

Preferred Qualifications • Experience with high‑level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management. • Extensive experience in project management and implementation with proven ability to design workable solutions and drive projects to successful implementation. • Experience in launching new logistics centers, factories or large facilities (including equipment deployment and management of all related processes). • Certified Project Management qualification (PMP, Prince2, or other). • Advanced CAD skills. • Experience in managing cool chains, refrigeration equipment and installations, temperature‑controlled environments. • Language proficiency in French, German, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Chinese (Mandarin), Afrikaans and Zulu. m/w/d Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
