Private Equity - Director of Private Wealth & Institutional Relations - German Market Requirements for Private Wealth: 15 years' + working directly with clients in the private wealth sector (Family Offices, UHNWI.

Your background and experience stems from working with organisations such as Private Banks, Asset Managers, Multi Family Offices, PE firms, Fund of Funds or Fund or Placement Agent.

Proven success in previous client relationship positions held at Private Banks, Asset Managers, Multi Family Offices, PE firms, Fund of Funds or Fund Placement Agencies Extensive existing network with private wealth investors (Family Offices, UHNWI. HNWI, etc) with proven track record on capital raised from them.

Experience in advising private wealth clients on investments or capital allocations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of building and maintaining investor relationships.

A challenging mind with the ability to think creatively / laterally, able to present your ideas to show how we can improve what we do and how we can do it to deliver results. Good presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear, simple, and precise way.

Good understanding of investment products and processes in the funds industry; in particular, alternative investments funds. A good understanding of DeepTech market dynamics is desirable, but not necessary as training can be provided. Must have strong intellectual curiosity, an entrepreneurial spirit.

To drive capital raise for the firm’s activities with a focus on private wealth investors. Build an account plan for each investor and ensure our value proposition is correctly positioned. Build working relationships with key investors and managers in target organisations. Know your investors’ commercial situation.

Prepare and implement documentation to clients/investors in line with internal compliance, legal, and audit requirements. Maintain professional knowledge, keep abreast of general market updates, industry developments, and competitor’s activities.

Candidate Requirements for Institutional Relations: Minimum 15+ years of experience in institutional investor relations , with at least 5+ years in capital raising roles for VC firms, PE firms, Fund of Funds, or Fund Placement Agencies. Extensive institutional investor network with a strong track record in fundraising and relationship management .

Experience managing large-scale investor relationships within institutional markets. Background in fundraising for alternative investment funds, with a preference for candidates with Fund of Funds experience. Strong investment acumen and an understanding of alternative investment fund structures.

Exceptional ability to craft and maintain strategic investor relationships, aligning fundraising efforts with institutional objectives. Ability to think critically and strategically , identifying innovative approaches to investor engagement.

Excellent communication and presentation skills , capable of delivering complex financial concepts in an accessible and compelling manner. Familiarity with AI and DeepTech market trends is preferred but not mandatory (training provided). Strong intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Core Responsibilities Lead and oversee institutional investor relations and capital-raising strategies . Develop tailored account management plans , ensuring alignment with investors' objectives. Maintain deep engagement with key institutional investors , proactively managing relationships.

Oversee the execution of fundraising initiatives , ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and audit standards. Identify and act on emerging market opportunities , leveraging industry insights to drive firm growth. Maintain a strong understanding of competitor strategies and general market developments. Highly competitive base salary .

Performance-based OTE bonuses in addition to base compensation. Access to a meaningful percentage of GP Carry participation . Strong potential for partnership within the firm in a short timeframe.
